The courses offered in a certification program focus on a particular professional area, and enable students to advance their education in a very focused way. The opportunity to study online enables students to move through each course at their own pace. Quizzes provide a "checkpoint" for students to confirm what they have learned, and performance on exams at the end of each course is the basis for awarding course credit.
An IIAE certification program can be completed in a shorter time than a traditional university degree. It is designed for working professionals who want to increase both their value to their employer and their own self-esteem, by demonstrating knowledge, skill, and competence in a chosen aspect of their career.
IIAE makes several opportunities available for students to be certified in areas of industry specialization. Because IIAE students take courses online that they can complete at their own pace, the time it takes to complete a certificate depends on the student's ability to complete the course and receive credit. Students may enroll in more than one course at a time to receive their certificates sooner.
